Liverpool still have a fair few areas among their ranks that could do with upgrading.
Indeed, they did welcome four new players through the Anfield doors over the summer but, even with these additions, it feels like more needs to be done.
The Reds have done decently since the start of the season with their Champions League campaign getting off to a winning start against Atletico Madrid, even if Marcos Llorente managed to bag himself another goal against them.
In a related development, and, while they may be unbeaten in the Premier League at the moment, there's still something missing from their starting XI.
For now, it's quite hard to figure out exactly what they're missing but, with the rumour mill starting to turn again, it's clear that Liverpool feel the same.
Mohamed Salah still hasn't been replaced by Liverpool which is a crazy statement to share.
Furthermore, most fans thought that replacing the Egyptian King would be the first transfer that Liverpool made.
Nevertheless, that was far from the case as, even though Victor Munoz and Bradley Barcola can be used there if needed, neither of them are natural right-wingers and, if Liverpool want to get back to the top, they definitely need one of them.
A number of different attackers were linked with Iraola and his men but, now, thanks to an update from Sportowy, it seems like Chelsea's Estevao has found his way onto Liverpool's shortlist.
Additionally, "As per to Ekrem Konur, the 19-year-old Brazilian international, who moved from Palmeiras to Chelsea in the summer of 2025, is being monitored by FC Barcelona and Liverpool.
"Despite interest from other giants, the London club has no intention of parting ways with the talented winger.
"One club particularly interested in the Brazilian's development is FC Barcelona. The Catalan club's sporting director, Deco, is monitoring the player's situation and analyzing his future options. Barcelona is looking for a player who is comfortable in one-on-one situations and who could uptick their attacking options.
It is worth noting that "Estêvão also remains on Liverpool's roster. The English club is evaluating young players who could strengthen their attacking lineup in the future, and considers the 19-year-old to be one of their players with meaningful potential.
"At this stage, there are no representative negotiations underway between Chelsea, FC Barcelona, and Liverpool regarding Estêvão's transfer.
Obviously, a move for Estevao in January feels highly unlikely.
